On 15 February, 2009 the 445 th Birth Anniversary of Eminent Astronomer and the Father of Modern Science ‘Galileo Galilei' was Celebrated in Bangladesh . On an initiative of Bangladesh Astronomical Society, National Museum of Science and Technology , Bangladesh (NMST), organized a Day-long program including Seminar, Exhibition, and Video Presentation in their Auditorium. Earlier, Bangladesh Astronomical Society and National Science Museum had jointly organized a Sky Observation Camp at the premises of Saint Josef Higher Secondary School, Dhaka on 14 Feb evening as a part of the activities of IYA-2009 in Bangladesh. Hundreds of enthusiastic Students including Teachers, Scientists, Science Writers, Special Personalities,
